The lovely girl next door turns four tomorrow. I'm clueless when it comes to buying gifts for children so fingers crossed I made a good choice.
This little hat caused lots of conversation today about 'found' objects. You have to wonder in this hot weather how a woolly hat found itself on a bollard outside Birmingham registry office.
Down in the dark and dusty cellar at Moms house.
After the sunshine came the storm.
I'm such a hoarder. Today my Lyons Treasure Chest was uncovered amongst the bits we saved from my Grandpa's house.
We have birds living in our loft who came out to play in the sunshine.
After Rachel's encouragement I went to Victoria Square on the hunt for the mysterious flower bus. The bus was no where to be seen but I did find a beach, a fountain and Mary Poppins.
We watched Sophie in her dance show this evening and it brought back lots of memories from my childhood. I used to wear this red ribbon when performing my solo.
Beautiful evening stroll to walk off dinner at the Indian.
I'm reading a dreadful yet addictive book about WAGs at the moment. Completely in sync with the theme of a book a colleague remarked that she 'Didn't believe in keeping things for best' when I complemented her on her impressive selection of stilettos. I was so tempted to ask if I could photograph her feet.
Chilling in our sunny garden with the pine cones.
A leak in the office meant I could work from home on my lovely Mac with a decent internet connection. If only I could always work on my battered little MacBook.
Punch no longer condones domestic violence. He does however fully endorse getting an ASBO and beating up Chavs. Note the hoody and the Burberry cap.
After a hard mornings card making Stu made lovely cakes.
After taking a photograph of my own back proved too difficult I took this photograph to show how much the dressing on my back is getting to me.
Someone told me today that they thought of Sheryl Crow every time they wiped. So bizarre but made me laugh.
I wore a dress that I bought last summer for the first time today. Then Glamour magazine told me I was bang on trend with wearing ruffles.
Who knew the lyrics to The winner takes it all were so meaningful!
The computers all said 'NO' at work today.
Biker Stu came home early to keep me company after the Docs.
Big Kev's leaving do.
A duvet day spent gazing out of the bedroom window.
Big Dance in Centenary Square followed by torrential rain, burgers and broken computers.
The Lowry, Manchester.
A gift from Claire this morning made my day. Finally my lovely camera will be kept warm safe and dry.
All the things I could be doing in my spare time and I choose to get scathing looks from 14 year olds.
After getting lost in West Bromwich we arrived just in time to photograph school children participating in Big Dance.
Someone told me once that after you've read a book you should burn it. I prefer to recycle them for crafts.
Dylan had to watch the Doctor Who finale through one eye. Ouch.
Seeking refuge at Southwark Cathedral after the dark of the London Dungeon.
The Tower of London. Is it not a bit gruesome that people from all over the world visit a building where Royalty imprisoned/tortured/killed people mostly just because of religious differences? I'm going to the Dungeon tomorrow.
FYI - I've fixed the blog so you don't need a google account to make comments anymore.
Jack Johnson, Hyde Park, Stu and Sunshine. Thoroughly good day.
In London today the only open space in sight was when you looked up.
