Halloween party with Stu's family. It may be a cliche but I don't care, it's not Halloween unless there's a pumpkin!
The orange bits just underneath the lantern are cakes the kids made earlier.
No time for photos today, too busy drawing with Bethan and Tom in front of High School Musical 2.
The Public in West Bromwich. One of the Comms 4 likened it to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Love it or loathe it there's no denying it's a stunning building, I loved it.
Standing outside Wolverhampton University in the snow. Brrr.
One good reason to support your local butcher - 21 day matured steak.
Ikea.
We're finally getting rid of the awful purple in the guest room.
A Whale, dinner at the Mailbox and a talk at the CBSO centre by Kate Adie. A very grown up evening.
After a long cold wait for my delayed train Stu came and picked me up in a nice warm car, then made me sausage and cheesy mash. What a star.
New Primark shoes. In fact I bought 3 pairs, and it came to £12.
This little Guiding light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.A very enjoyable pajama party followed by a promise ceremony for 6 new Guides.
Monday night, supermarket night.
Cat that likes to visit my Mom's garden.
A cold but beautiful morning in Shrewsbury. It's not the best photo I could of taken but it would have been a shame to go there and not represent it with one of its lovely buildings.
Haircut.
I love this jacket. I bought it from a second hand shop I was 14 and it still fits. Despite it looking a little too weathered I wore it to work today. The minute I put it on it makes me think of Worcester summers and Ash records.
Yesterday Oasis, today Blur. I had to turn my headphones up to keep myself awake on the train.
I would have loved to have posted a photo from the Oasis gig I saw today but they were all out of focus! Instead here's a photo of the lovely sunrise I got to watch as I took a later train into work.
At last! Asda had sprouts in so I could get cracking with the Christmas card one of Comms 4 has asked me to make.
More Christmas card shots today after my first car boot sale. A man in a sailors hat told me today "One man's crap is another man's treasure".
While buying Santa chocolates for Christmas shots I saw these Licorice Allsorts and couldn't resist buying some to photograph. Photographing food is much harder than I thought.
A pack of colourful origami paper called out to me from all the minimalist stuff in Muji today. Origami is hard!! I'm going to have to make a lot more frogs before I try this one out on the Guides.
15% off at Cath Kidston followed by Krispy Kreme donuts. Did I mention how much I LOVE Selfridges?
Theory test book, guaranteed to send me to sleep.
Guides and glitter paint = bad plan! They really enjoyed the craft I practiced at the weekend though.
This week I am starting to take photographs ready for a run of Christmas cards. Unfortunately I have a really clear idea of what I want them to look like - which means I'm not happy with any of them yet.
I've done lots of prep for some crafts I'm doing with the Guides on Tuesday. These Funfoam letters will come in very handy.
Sanding paintwork at Mom's new house.
Home grown chillies from Sheila. According to the papers grow your own and supermarket economy brands are the way forward during the credit crunch.
Two days into October and I've already had to buy new jumpers.
I am no longer a Natwest customer. Today I shouted at the staff in the bank. Not very ladylike but hey they stole my lunch hour!
