There was a gunfight in the garden this morning.
My colleague's enthusiasm for scrap booking is infectious, and is spreading through the office fast.
Things that made my day better.'Remember, man with death-watch beetle in wooden leg better off than man with tin leg in thunderstorm.'
Today was the opening night of the Sex and the City movie but we were at the cinema for Indiana Jones. The tills broke and a queue of over dressed women in badly fitting high heels grew until many of them had to wait outside in the rain.
Why is it you can spend a fortune at the supermarket but still end up with junk for tea?
Spending a Bank Holiday Monday eating giant ice cream sundaes in Selfridges with Stu, it's the moments like these that make life worth living!
Today was declared a Duvet Day.
Playing with cameras during the Eurovision scoring.
Stu potters about in the garage and the garden. I potter about with the camera. Happens a lot.

Stu woke me up and handed me my camera before six o'clock this morning because this was the view out of our window.
Boyfriend out on bike, so I continued my girlie week with a long soak in the bath.
Today was all about women. Parliament are voting on abortion laws and IVF treatment for single and lesbian women and at work conversation turned to who in our homes knows the washing machine best. Even the Guides were at it, being unusually girlie by skipping and painting each others nails.
I was tired from the moment I rolled out of bed this morning, and no amount of tea, biscuits or visitors could take my mind off being exhausted.
Despite having the fire on all night in the caravan we were able to have the roof off and enjoy a fine morning in the Lakes.
I realise this is similar to an earlier photo in May, but I really love the silhouettes made when the sun shines through trees.
Wordsworth's Daffodil Garden, Grasmere. If only I could capture the smell of gingerbread that was floating through the garden from a nearby shop.
The most depressing thing about this sign breaking up the scenery was that it was probably true.
"It will be a great prop for when I have a studio"
This phrase is getting out of hand. I have a wooden step ladder in storage in the vain hope one day I can do some kind of 'Singing in the Rain' inspired image.
I also need to get to grips with the camera better, it's great quality but I haven't worked out how to utilise it yet!
The other female administrators at my new job are shorter than me. When I stand next to them, especially when in heels, I feel like the Amazon woman, towering above them like some kind of awkward giant. I even wore flatter shoes today instead of my favourite green ones as I knew I'd be having lunch with them. It's so nice to return home to my tall boyfriend so I can feel small again.
A Guider hunts for Guides as we break from our hike for a game of hide and seek.
After my first day in my new job Stu and I put our feet up and tried to choose something to cook for Mom and Avril on Wednesday.
New camera, already impressed with the difference in quality, can't wait to do some outside shots!
First outing of my new Primark sunglasses. Possibly the last outing of my current camera.
A visit to the Docklands for the Grand Designs Show.
You spend hours trying to get a shot of the squirrel in your back garden then one poses for you in the middle of the city.
I finally got a picture of the squirrel today, after Stu put a screw through the feeder. I'm still to get close enough for the shot I want, however smart squirrel managed to break another part of the feeder so it can't be hung up anymore. The battle continues...
A walk down the Avenue after a walk around the Mailbox.
My black mood brightened up and the day got a lot more colourful just as I was thinking about what to do for the blog today.
We put this up to attract an acrobatic squirrel that plays in next doors garden in the hope I could get a good shot of it. Unfortunately while we were away it chewed off the bottom and emptied the feeder.
Today was the first time in this project that I really didn't want to take a photograph. I would have quite happily not bothered today having spent the weekend looking at my own photos at the craft fair.
We did our first craft fair this weekend, near Rhyl in North Wales. This very dull photograph reflects just how exciting it was.
In the upstairs hallway of our hotel was this telephone, with no indication of why it was there. In fact only now has it occurred to me that I should have lifted up the receiver to see if there was a dial tone.
In the afternoon there is a really sunny spot in the office which casts great shadows on the mouse mat.
Sheila lent me a toy from her garage and suggested I took some photographs through it. This is one of the results. I also used it to create a photo story entitled 'Desktop Bank Job'.
