The other female administrators at my new job are shorter than me. When I stand next to them, especially when in heels, I feel like the Amazon woman, towering above them like some kind of awkward giant. I even wore flatter shoes today instead of my favourite green ones as I knew I'd be having lunch with them. It's so nice to return home to my tall boyfriend so I can feel small again.
