The same but different. It's my 26th Birthday tomorrow so this is my last photograph for the project. I decided to replicate my first photograph as I thought it would be a good way to illustrate what's changed this year. The house keys are for different houses to the keys in the original photo, the train pass is for a different city, the battery is for a newer camera. I still carry a glasses case but I actually wear the glasses now. The provisional driving license and the business cards are new editions to my bag, as are newspaper cuttings and fliers which I accumulate at work.I'm sure there will be other posts on the blog, I want to post an evaluation of the project and also a thank you list for all the people who have helped me complete it. But for now, I'm going to enjoy going out without having to take a picture...
Possibly the nicest birthday card I've ever had, plus a fantastic collection of bits and bobs from Claire's Accessories. Oh and homemade birthday muffins too. It's not even my birthday yet!
This gingerbread man really made me smile. I was very impressed that one of the Guides had thought to use the hundreds and thousands to make eyelashes.
Cube - round the corner from the office.
The building on the left, which they have just started cladding, was a huge hole when I started this blog.
More fun with Tom, Beth and Lisa today.
Tom spent the morning using 'the force' on me.
I had one of those 'I love this city. I love my life' moments as I was taking this picture. Love it when that happens.
Imagine the chicks are ideas, this is what my brain is like today. Whether I do anything with the chicks or the ideas is yet to be seen!
March DaffodilsMy boss bought me some daffodils yesterday to help with the office blues (it worked). You know it's nearly my birthday when bursts of yellow start popping up everywhere.
A walk to wind down after Guides led to some creepy photos at the back of St Nic's.
Monday blues. Blue clothes, blue jewelery and a blue mood all round the office.
I thought I'd photograph Grandpa's barometer which Stu put up today. Grandpa would be so pleased I've finally got round to learning to drive.
Girls night.
Becky's engagement ring looks huge in this photo. We've hit that age now - weddings, mortgages and children are three of our main topics of conversation.
Ladies who.Another glamorous lunch hour courtesy of Claire.
Shiny new 'smart' shoes.
I was skulking around Mom's looking for evidence of Avril's visit for today's photograph. Then I saw this. I like to think it represents the topics of conversation Mom and Avril have had during her visit.
Westminster Cathedral Another day in London for work. I wonder if the people working at National Office appreciate the views of Westminster right on their doorstep.
Not the Cutty Sark.
Today I had to get the Docklands Light Railway to Cutty Sark station for a work event. Unfortunately since it caught fire the famous ship isn't actually there anymore so instead I stood on a wobbly bridge and photographed the Francesca Prior instead.
These moss covered gems used to look very different outside my childhood home. I think I prefer them like this.
The Amazing Bovarian Stompers.
The evening entertainment at Kate and Duncan's Saturday party was very funny.
